200 Reviews!

Friends! A Midwife in Amish Country now has 200 reviews on Amazon!!!!!!!

A midwife in Missouri stumbled across the book and reached out to me on Facebook to tell me she was reading it and enjoying it!

I was so blessed! I truly do love hearing from those of you who’ve read and enjoyed the books I’ve written!

And this time I remembered to ask if she’d consider leaving a review of it, and she did! God bless YOU, my dear sister midwife! Thank you with all of my heart ♥

“I stayed up all night to finish this book. It stands solidly with Baby Catcher, A Midwife’s Story, and Lady’s Hands, Lion’s Heart. I’ve been a dedicated reader since I was eight-years old. As a midwife, books about midwifery are of interest. This book is a delight! The prose is poetic. So many times I held my breath as I read stories of her personal life and ‘midwife life,’ becoming humbled by life and all its glories and travails. I was many times delighted with the spiritual direction in difficult circumstances she displayed, such wisdom from above. Through her life she carries on with grace amidst pain. God bless you, sister midwife. We live far from one another but if you ever grace south central Missouri, feel welcome, you and your family, to visit our farm. ♥♥

I’m so excited to have received so many reviews, even while not all of them are actually positive reviews! I almost have to laugh when I remember that review number 100 wasn’t even close to positive—number 100 was written by Peggy Vincent, the author of Baby Catcher, one of the books my new friend mentioned in her review—a midwifery memoir I, too, treasure!

And isn’t that just life?

Many thank yous to all who’ve read my book and have taken the time to leave a review ♥♥♥
